SPENCER TEAL | LEAD PASTOR, ELDER
Spencer is the founding pastor of Red Stone Church in Johnson City, which he and his wife Nicole planted in 2013. Nicole is a beautiful gift of grace to his life and recently celebrated 15 years of marriage.
Spencer is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and is convinced of its transformation power on the souls of sinful man. Spencer’s been in ministry since 2001 and earned his Master’s in Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Spencer enjoys listening to new bands, watching Georgia football, cooking for Taco Tuesday, and competition. Yes, simple competition.
Spencer also enjoys playing in a fierce kickball league in his front yard. He competes against his 6 amazing children and is currently boasting a record of 1-14 (he is outnumbered, don’t forget). Kennedy, McKibben, Arwyn, Oliver, Alistair, and Augustine delight his every day.
He longs to see the people of Johnson City believe in Christ Jesus and have their lives transformed by Him.
JERRY WILLIAMS | COMMUNITY LIFE PASTOR, ELDER
Jerry serves as the Community Life Pastor as well as an elder at Red Stone Church. He has also served as Head of School for Providence Academy, a classical Christian school located in Johnson City for the past 20+ years.
He and his wife, Cammy have been married for 27 years...and counting. Jerry and Cammy have 4 children, ranging in ages from 12 to 25: Caleb, Kyler, Kilby & Kolbi. Jerry loves to read, eat and travel.
The Word of God has been used by the Lord to completely transform Jerry's life, so he's passionate about getting others to dig into the Word as well. He believes that if you'll dive into the Word in search of the Living Christ that He will be found and you'll never be the same. Favorite Bible verses are Psalm 73:25 and 2 Peter 1:3.
To say that Jerry loves community groups would be a gross understatement. But if you want to know why, just ask him...but don't expect a short explanation.
DANIEL MACINTOSH | EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Daniel serves as the Executive Pastor at Red Stone Church. He has been serving in vocational ministry since 2013 and been active in ministry leadership since 2008. He is a native of East Tennessee and loves this area for its people and its beauty.
Daniel and Michelle married while in college at ETSU and went together to Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas. They have three rambunctious boys all under the age of 8 – Calvin, Gabriel, and Elijah. The boys and their Dad love camp fires, adventures, pretty much anything loud and destructive.
Daniel has a passion to see the local church thrive in both its community and ability to clearly bring the Gospel to bear in all aspects of life. One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 1.
WILL MORRIS | WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Will and his wife Abi joined Red Stone in 2017 when he became the church's worship director. They have been married since December 2015 and love to defeat one another in Scrabble.
Will earned his Masters in Church Ministry from Southern Seminary. He is passionate about seeing the people of God know Him through His word and adore Him with all their hearts.
Since high school Will has enjoyed writing music, particularly about Abi. He also works as a videographer and loves using creativity to glorify God.
In another universe Will is an All Star NBA player and starting Quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs. In this universe, however, he just likes to watch.
He hopes to use music at Red Stone to teach the church about who God is and what He has done for us.
DEBBIE DUPRE | DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Debbie and her husband, James, were a part of the core church planting group that began meeting in their living room and a year later launched as Red Stone Church. They have 8 children plus their spouses (so they really have 16), 12 grandchildren and 7 grand dogs. It’s pretty grand when they are all together!
She has been involved in children and youth ministry within the church and other faith based ministries, for more than 30 years. She has a passion for sharing the life that Jesus offers to children and their parents. Her hope is to encourage and empower families to take spiritual leadership in the home and to love the children of Camp Red Stone well.
Debbie pledges to never get old by having regular trips to the beach, Girlfriend time, and hosting constant family and friend gatherings! She's always ready for a game night, some people say she might be a little too competitive. FUN is one of her core values as "a cheerful heart is good medicine."
